A return to normal transmission

Hello! I am back online! The move went well, and despite the exhaustion that naturally ensued, we've been really enjoying the new house.

Last Wednesday I wore a newly finished dress. I've been itching to sew for what feels like months, but the move was prohibitive. So, amongst boxes, I sewed for two evenings last week. It didn't get it out of my system any, but felt rather like I was getting back in control of things.

A quick update

So, we moved on the 4th, and (obviously) haven't had internet since then. I have not abandoned this project yet! Hopefully the internet will be connected on Monday, and I can catch up on some old pics and get back into the swing of it.

I'm happy, and well, and the new house is lovely!

my Cup runneth over

Today was Melbourne Cup, and settlement! The first gave me an excuse to dress up, and the second a reason to be joyful! We collected the keys this afternoon and had a picnic dinner on the empty living room floor!
