Something happened this year. I began to remember who I am. The person who bought and wore clothes with passion and enjoyment. The person who hunted for the perfect thing, took it in, altered it, made it from scratch. Somewhere, in the early-twenties frenzy of study and depression and work, I forgot about myself.
One thing I had forgotten was how much I love dresses! I have hardly worn trousers all winter, and now Spring is coming I am feeling an ambivilant mix of joy for the possibilities of spring dresses and sadness that my silly stockings will have to go back in the drawer!
