Ah, spring! Will it be warm, will it be cool? Will it rain or will the sun shine?

Today was cool and overcast, and raining on and off. In fact, it started really coming down almost as soon as I had the tripod set up! Yes, you may have noticed an absence in drunken angles - the new tripod has arrived!
Today I wore the daytime version of this outfit: same dress and boots, different tights and cardigan.

I know it's terribly dull to go on about the weather... but today was mental! Hot and humid in the morning, with thunder, then heavy rain at midday, then cold and sunny. Bizarre!

Ahoy there sailor!

I have big love for nautical styles. This may be because I have weird colouring, and navy/white/teensy bit of red is one of the few colour-combos I can pull off. It may also be because I love me some vintage pinup! But really, navy and white always look fresh, don't they?
Anyway, have had this dress since the beginning of winter, and at 26C+ today, it was finally warm enough to wear it! Same shoes as Friday (they are so versatile!), and I started off with a navy cardigan as well, but I wore it so little I can't be bothered including it.

"snow" day!

Today there was a little drama and my work was closed - all dressed up and nowhere to go! It gave me plenty of time to get ahead of some paperwork and house-moving nonsense, but before I returned to my standard housework uniform of trackies, I snapped my outfit.

This is an all-time favourite outfit! I love the navy/white/red combo, and you can't argue with a dress with pockets. And, as this blog suggests, I love my prints!

Tonight was my lovely father-in-law's 60th birthday party. I decided on a slightly glammed up version of a frequent mid-season work ensemble. Basically, the only differentce is that if I was going to work I'd wear a camisole (so no-one would be traumatised by cleavage), leave my cardigan on and wear a little less eye-makeup.

Blowing hot and cold

After a few warm weeks, we plummeted to around 10 degrees Celsius today.  As our bunnies have just been relocated to a new outside home, they seemed like the best accessories I had at hand - warm and fuzzy!

House hunting

We've been looking for houses the last couple of weekends, and it's 19C and sunny today - all that sitting in a sunny car makes it well and truly spring!
